Terms and conditions of sale
The terms governing bookings at Riad Ozan.
These terms govern all bookings made with Riad Ozan. Confirming a booking constitutes unreserved acceptance of these provisions.
1. Arrival and departure
Arrival — Rooms are available from 3:00 pm. Whatever your arrival time, please let us know in advance — we will do everything necessary to welcome you in the best conditions.
Departure — Rooms must be vacated by 12:00 pm at the latest. If your flight or schedule requires it, we will do our best to let you keep the room a little longer — at no extra charge, subject to availability. In any case, your luggage is always welcome at the Riad until whatever time suits you.
2. Booking and payment
Minimum length of stay — A minimum stay is required, varying by period (absolute minimum: 2 nights). The conditions applicable to your dates are shown at the time of booking.
Confirmation — Every booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit equal to 50% of the accommodation, excluding tourist tax.
Balance payment
- Room booking — The balance is paid during your stay, by bank card or in cash (euros or dirhams).
- Full Riad privatisation — The balance must be paid in full by bank transfer or card no later than 30 days before the arrival date.
Fees and currency exchange — Card payments in Morocco may incur exchange and transaction fees payable by the client. Our internal reference conversion rate is set at 1 EUR = 11 MAD.
3. Cancellation and modification
Any request must reach us in writing (e-mail).

Modification — A modification is possible free of charge, once only, up to 7 days before the original arrival date, subject to availability. Any price difference in the Riad's favour remains due.
Full Riad privatisation

Modification — A modification is possible free of charge up to 60 days before the original arrival date, subject to availability. Any price difference in the Riad's favour remains due.
4. Tourist tax
The tourist tax in force in Marrakech, namely 26 MAD per night per person, is included in the booking summary and itemised on your invoice.
5. Life at the Riad
Adults-only policy — To preserve the calm and privacy of every guest, Riad Ozan welcomes adults only for individual bookings. This restriction is automatically lifted for a full privatisation of the property.
Pets — Pets are not allowed.
Catering — For reasons of hygiene and food safety, outside food or drink may not be brought in. The Riad has its own catering service.
Respect for the premises — We ask every guest to treat the spaces — rooms and common areas alike — with the care they deserve. Any damage observed will be charged.
6. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Marrakech courts.
